Steve has been a part of North Idaho since 1957. Raised on the family farm in Sagle — where he still lives — Steve learned from an early age what it means to be part of the Bonner community. In 1968, he graduated from Sandpoint High School, and shortly enrolled at the University of Idaho earning a bachelors’ degree in education, and a masters’ degree in administration.
Steve spent over 40 years in education in Bonner County as an elementary and high school teacher and principal. Steve with his wife, Marguerite, have four grown children and nine amazing grandchildren.
I have been working with the public for over 40 years, listening to concerns, finding solutions, supervising, evaluating and coordinating staff; overseeing large budgets; interacting with government, nonprofit and private sector groups and individuals.
This is our state and I want to keep it the wonderful place it is. Your opinion matters and I look forward to your comments and questions.
